From 20th to 22nd November 2025, LEGE Engineering proudly opens the doors of its Geotechnical and Geological Laboratory for an exceptional three-day celebration of innovation, expertise, and partnership. This edition commemorates 16 years of excellence for Bureau d’Études LEGE Engineering and 4 years of pioneering research at its laboratory the first private geotechnical testing facility in the Central African Republic. The Open Days bring together engineers, students, researchers, and partners to explore the science and technology shaping the nation’s infrastructure and sustainable development.
The event kicks off with a comprehensive tour of the LEGE Geotechnical and Geological Laboratory. Guests will experience first-hand how soil, rock, and construction materials are tested to ensure safety, durability, and compliance with international standards. Live demonstrations will showcase: Soil and material strength testing. Sampling and analysis procedures. Modern laboratory instruments in action. Field equipment used for site investigations. These sessions are designed to help visitors understand how geotechnical engineering supports smarter, safer construction across Central Africa.
Dedicated to students, universities, and technical institutions, this day focuses on learning, innovation, and career inspiration. Attendees will join: Technical presentations led by LEGE’s senior engineers and researchers Interactive workshops explaining laboratory processes and data interpretation Mentorship talks highlighting career opportunities in engineering and construction fields This session fosters collaboration between academia and industry, encouraging young engineers to explore geotechnical science as a dynamic and impactful profession.
The final day welcomes institutional and corporate partners, including embassies, NGOs, government agencies, and professional associations.
